As a Los Angeles native, my thing that is favorite about city is the diversity. Los Angeles is an ethnic and cultural hub which allows us to possess access to wonderful art museums, musical venues, and my personal favorite, delicious food! One of my favorite USC neighborhood establishments is Mercado La Paloma (The Dove Market), a mini meals court within walking distance of campus. La Paloma features cuisines from across the world including my two favorites, Chichen Itza, that offers food from the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, and Mo-Chica which features premium Peruvian meals at a reasonable price. Mo restaurant that is best in Los Angeles by LA Magazine in 2010. This marketplace is certainly a hidden gem in our community.
Every summer, once a week, our admission counselors have a long lunch at a regional restaurant then explore what our community needs to provide by visiting local galleries and museums. A year ago one of the primary hits had been the 23rd Street Café which is accessible utilising the USC Tram.
